Metalphoto of Cincinnati presents UltraColor™, an anodized-aluminum material that allows subsurface, inkjet printing that renders the printed material virtually impervious to abrasion, chemicals, moisture, corrosion and humidity, the company states. The material may be printed upon at up to 1,440 dpi for vivid colors and clarity, and the inkjet process allows half-tones and color gradations reportedly impossible with screenprinting.
