Milwaukee Installs New Suicide Prevention Signs

The city hopes the effort can reach out to people with mental health struggles.

The city of Milwaukee installed new suicide prevention park signs on Nov. 13, CBS 58 Milwaukee reports.

The city used data from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office to help build a heat map for where suicides have previously occurred. They hope that the new signs around those areas can educate the community on which resources are available and offer hope.
