Mimaki USA Announces Key Personnel

Wade Swormstedt Signs of the Times August 2014 Issue

Mimaki USA (Suwanee, GA) has announced three appointments in management, sales, marketing and service positions. These appointments are a result of Japan-based Mimaki Engineering’s sales growth of 29.8% in 2013, versus 2012.
       Ken VanHorn joins the company as director of marketing and business development. In this newly created position, he is responsible for marketing strategy and planning, marketing communications and promotional activities. VanHorn most recently worked with HP, and has also worked with EFI/Vutek, Roland DGA and Encad.
       Paul McGovern has been promoted to regional sales manager at the Dallas Technology Center. He is responsible for developing sales and managing dealer relationships in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. Paul previously served as manager of sales promotion at Mimaki USA headquarters.
       Vernon Jones will assume McGovern’s former role. Jones began his career with Mimaki USA in 2008 as an application engineer and quickly progressed to supervisor of sales promotion.
