Mutoh America, Inc. (Phoenix) is announcing its 42-in.-wide, four-color, RJ-900X piezo-inkjet (variable drop-on-demand) printer that images up to 676 sq. ft./hr. on various media with your choice of aqueous and pigmented inks. Mutoh says the RJ-900X can produce photo-quality prints. The roll-fed printer features Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweave (i²) print technique and a ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) smart phone app. Other attributes include a user-friendly control panel; improved paper handling; roller-pressure controls; a media stand and catch basket; new print and effect modes; installation and training; and a one year warranty.
