Ventex Technology Inc. (Riviera Beach, FL), which manufactures energy-efficient indoor and outdoor electronic neon power supplies, has hired Jim Sloan as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He will lead sales and marketing efforts, including the launch of their new line of electronic HO fluorescent ballasts.

Sloan previously led high-growth sales and marketing teams in several industries including capital equipment, construction services and specialty chemicals. He has played a leadership role in the development and growth of two start-up organizations.
