A new sign was installed at Peoples Bank Theatre, Marietta, OH, The Marietta Times reports.

While the new sign is not exactly the same as the older sign that it replaces, which had been in place since the 1920’s, the theater’s board members and manager ensured that it would meet historical accuracy requirements and pay tribute to the era, according to the theater’s Marketing Director Kaitline Streator as quoted in The Marietta Times.

Wagner Electric Sign Co. (Elyria, OH), which has a specialty in classic theater marquees, took down the old sign and provided the new one.
