Nine sign companies that are members are of the International Sign Assn. (ISA) will participate in the National Manufacturing Assn.’s October 4 Manufacturing Day event.  The event is designed to underscore manufacturing’s importance to the economy, and ISA’s goal is to educate a potential workforce of high-school, vocational-school and community-college students about the sign industry and its viability as a career path.

"Students may not always hear about career possibilities within the broader manufacturing sector," Lori Anderson, ISA’s president and CEO, said. ‘Manufacturing has always been the backbone of the American economy and will continue to be so. Participating in Manufacturing Day provides an opportunity to share information, as well as showcase the many diverse careers within our particular industry."

Participating shops include:

Cummings Signs (Dothan, AL and Riverside, CA)

Hilton Displays (Greenville, SC)

Federal Heath Sign Co. (Oceanside, CA, Euless, TX, Jacksonville, TX and Delaware, OH)
