Signs of the Times (ST) magazine is proud to announce this year’s Women in Signs, our second-annual awards celebrating women and gender-expansive sign industry professionals from a range of sectors.

Hosted in partnership with ISA and sponsored by Square Coil, Trotec and Watchfire Signs, the 2022 program honors standout professionals* who have excelled in ownership/management, design, fabrication, installation, sales or marketing. Winners will have spurred innovation, fueled business growth or made a positive impact within their sign company, industry association or sign-associated philanthropic organization.

Sign company professionals are invited to nominate industry connections, co-workers, colleagues or themselves in the competition. Winners will be selected by a panel of industry leaders (TBD), featured in ST‘s April issue and lauded at the ISA International Sign Expo this May in Atlanta.

Last year’s six winners included Heidi Tillmanns, national signage manager, Trans Canada Trail (Montreal); Patty Soria, vice president of production and co-owner, Signtech (San Diego); Elizabeth Minaise, project manager and partner, SignCraft Premier Identity Solutions Inc. (Roseburg, OR); Nancy Wilde, “sign-tist,” Wayside (Vernon, BC, Canada); Marissa Cianciulli, owner/sign writer, Super Signs (Philadelphia, Los Angeles) + motion picture sign writer (Los Angeles); and Dawn Tiritter-Bent, president and owner, Signarama Huntington (Huntington Station, NY).

Entries for the 2022 Women in Signs awards must be submitted via this nomination form no later than Monday, Feb. 7 to be considered for the competition.
