Omnivex Releases Latest Version of Moxie Content-management Software

Manages video walls driven by multiple PCs and retain frame synchronization

Omnivex Corp. (Concord, ON, Canada), a provider of enterprise software for digital-signage networks, has released Moxie 6.05, the latest version of its premise-based, content-management software. Flat-screen displays with thin bezels are easily tiled together to form a video wall. However, video walls have grown so large that a single PC can’t control intricate screen configurations and complex multimedia content. The software can manage video walls driven by any number of PCs and retain frame synchronization on multiple screens when one or more player PCs restart.
Users can set up multiple tasks to synchronize remote files, playlists and schedules to the Data Server folder. Users can then simply drop content files into a synchronized folder on their network, where Moxie can retrieve them. The data-proxy capability allows multiple players to connect through a single node.
