ISA has reported a potential one-year delay to the OSHA crane operator certification November 2017 deadline.

On June 20, an OSHA advisory panel held a public hearing and voted to recommend that OSHA extend the compliance deadline twelve months, to November 2018. ISA represented the industry at the hearing and reported strongly urging that any rule extension also include an additional extension for companies who have already complied with the rule.

ISA is following this issue closely and will share additional details as they become available.
