Permlight (Tustin, CA) is announcing Linearray™, an LED replacement light engine for double-sided cabinet signs. A product of the Permlight for Signs™ division, this product works for new signage as well.
     The company states that Linearray provides 37% power savings and 400-600% longer lifetime (63,000 hours) than legacy HO fluorescent lamps. The product carries a seven-year warranty.
     It mounts into existing recessed double contact (RDC) sockets, and utilizes a new UL class of wire that doesn’t require a raceway, the company states. The 140 LPW LED modules produce more than 800 lumens per foot, greater than Daylight HO fluorescent. Linearray features a separate constant current driver for higher efficacy and energy savings.
