The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF; Pittsburgh) is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2022–2023 academic year.

Scholarships are awarded to both full- and part-time students interested in pursuing education and a career in the graphic communications industry. Students are encouraged to apply early during the scholarship application period, which runs through May 1, 2022. Scholarship recipients will be notified in July and August of 2022.

Last year, PGSF distributed $527,000 in scholarships to 185 recipients, marking the highest amount awarded by the organization in the past 20 years. The recipients hailed from 100 colleges, technical schools and universities across the US.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, the newly created $25,000 Allen Halvorsen Scholarship – honoring the late industry veteran – will be available to students. Additionally, the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) is dedicating more funding to the John Dillard Memorial Scholarships distributed by PGSF. That amount has been raised to $5,000 from last year’s $3,000.
