Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) is expanding its inkjet-printing accessories and supplies line with X-Rite’s i1Basic Pro 2 and i1Publish Pro 2 color-management products; a new line of TAKK anti-static kits (for Roland 54-, 64- or 74-in. printer or printer/cutters); and, a new Benes dryer line for the VersaCAMM VS inkjet printer/cutter equipped with a double-white inks.
Roland said X-Rite’s i1Basic Pro 2, which is compatible with all Roland large-format print devices, allows you to calibrate shop monitors to display accurate color while linearizing their printers for consistent output. The package comprises X-Rite’s new i1Pro 2 spectrophotometer, Pantone® color-manager software and the new i1 accessories package that includes an ambient, light-measurement head, monitor holder, scanning ruler, backup board and spot-color positioning target.
Also available is the i1Publish Pro 2 color-management upgrade that comprises the i1Basic Pro 2 package and i1Profiler software that allows you to create media profiles aligned to Roland printers in a production environment. This package includes ColorChecker camera-calibration software.
