Roland DGA (Irvine, CA) is announcing its 64-in.-wide, 1,440-dpi VersaEXPRESS™ RF-640 inkjet printer that features Roland’s gold-plated, mirrored (CMYKKYMC) printhead technology that produces seven, ink-droplet sizes. Equipped with Roland’s Greenguard Gold-Certified Eco-Sol MAX® 2 inks and VersaWorks® RIP software, the RF-640 can produce fast-drying, high-gamut, outdoor-durable signs, posters, banners, backlit displays, vehicle wraps and various coated and uncoated media at speeds up to 522 sq. ft./hr.
The roll-to-roll RF-640 also features Roland’s and Intelligent Pass Control, plus a media-heater system, remote-function iPad app and a print-in-process, ink-cartridge change-out system,
