SEAL® (Elkridge, MD), a division of Acco Brands Corp., is presenting two wide-format films. UltraClear PET, a 4.9-mil, clear, polyester film with a removable, silicone adhesive, is designed for window-graphic projects. It offers more thickness than comparable products and, the company reports, it attains bright colors and high ink density even when white ink isn’t used. It’s printable with solvent, latex or UV-cure inks. Also, the company has released Seal CityLight Superior, a non-glare, matte-finish material. The 8.3-mil substrate is coated for latex- and aqueous-ink printing, and is designed for lightboxes, menuboards, tradeshow graphics and other backlit applications.
UltraClear PET is available in 50-in.-wide, 98-ft.-long rolls, and CityLight Superior is sold in 36-, 50- and 60-in.-wide, 98-ft.-long rolls.
