Sherwin-Williams (Cleveland) is debuting GA1100 Super Z Accelerator, which is designed to speed up throughput with its Genesis® LV single-state coatings. According to the company, the additive reduces baking time by as much as 66% and eliminates tacky finishes. The Genesis coating system is designed for large neon or LED signs, scoreboards, electronic message centers and channel letters. The accelerator is sold in highly graffiti resistant, and is sold insqueezable, measured packaging, which will reduce spills and save time compared to traditional additive measuring, the company reports. Sherwin-Williams offers GA1100 in glossy or metallic finishes, and in 1.8-2.2 lbs./gallon VOC levels.
