What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Early in my sign career, I joined a business networking group in the next town over. During one of the meetings, a member of the volunteer fire department asked me to come look at a truck they needed lettered. He offered to drive me, which didn’t seem strange at the time. I eventually got in and we took off… out of town, away from the fire department… We traveled a good distance when he finally pulled into the driveway of an old abandoned farm. He led me over to the barn, opened the door and gestured me inside. It was completely black. When I went to step inside, I fell, dropped my phone and clipboard. As I regained my balance, I glanced over and saw a pile of bodies! It was only after my eyes adjusted to the darkness that I realized they were training dummies! I am pretty sure I aged several years in a matter of a few seconds.
