We donate close to $30,000 in signage and heavy discounts for fire, police, military and kids sports every year. Our client had asked us to donate to their cause and we were happy to give. Once the donated amount had been awarded and the signs delivered, the client continued to ask for more all the while dodging the question of who was paying for the additional signage. When brought up, the client looked at me and said, “We’re a nonprofit.” As if our company’s mission statement was to make profit and give it to them.
