Digital-signage management solution delivers content for up to 5,000 screens.

Sony USA (Park Ridge, NJ) is offering the Ziris digital signage system for handling complex DOOH-content. The web-based solution gives signage managers a simple way to control their display content via the Internet. Users can create display campaigns, view their delivery in real time and manage up to 5,000 screens from the Ziris dashboard.
A Ziris system connects directly to Sony display devices, plug-in signage adaptors and PC-based signage players. Ziris “Create” integrates all of a user’s digital-signage content; schedules delivery and distributes the content. The Create module works with static or dynamic images; Flash or HTML; multicast video network streams or live TV.
The Ziris View module acts like an ad server. Users can store campaign assets and then play the content on connected displays according to pre-defined schedules. With several setup options, Ziris fits most network architectures and connects via LAN (local) or WAN (remote), enabling both push and pull network workflows.
Ziris Manage helps users keep track of all play-out devices, public displays and other Sony professional devices on a network, via the Internet. The Manage module displays a diagram of the network structure and provides a view of Sony software applications and hardware devices within the signage network. Enabling users to monitor the current status of all devices in real time, Ziris shows current items being played back and display status.
