Steel Art Co. (Boston) is debuting seven new finishes for stainless steel, aluminum, brass, yellow brass, bronze or copper dimensional letters. The Special “FX” (or special effects) finishes include Aluminum Oxide, Sunburst™, Aurora™, Storm™, Wave™, Birdseye™ and Antique Swirls™. The letters are designed for interior or exterior signage applications.

The company constructs letters from cut solid plate or as fabricated, reverse channel letters. Cut solid-plate letters are available in heights from ¾ to 72 in. and widths from 0.020 in. Channel letters can be fabricated from 3 to 72 in. tall and between ½ and 12 in. wide. Along with the special effects finishes, letters are also available in standard and specialty finishes including Verde Green Patina, Random Orbital, Plated, Anodized and Oxidized.
