When I began contacting companies about their superlarge-format graphics services, I soon realized that sign- and graphics-industry professionals use different terms to describe their larger-than-life offerings. Although most businesses I contacted preferred "grand format," others favored "extra-large format," "wide format" and "superwide format." At ST , we prefer "superlarge format" to describe digitally printed graphics whose minimum width is 6 ft.
