Techno Inc. (New Hyde Park, NY) is presenting the Pro Series CNC routers, which the company designed to accommodate panel-process manufacturing. The machines incorporate large, heavy-duty tubing; precision, ball-screw drives on all three axes; a high-speed, closed-loop servo motor; THK rails and bearings; and a drive system that reportedly ensures minimal maintenance and enhanced longevity. Available in sizes that range from 4 x 8 ft. to 6 x 20 ft., the Pro series features a Windows-based interface, toolpath preview, axis-orientation changeover, a basic nesting function and production logging. The routers may also include such spindle options as a fourth axis, an automatic tool changer, collet spindles, or multi-spindle set-up for high-volume production.
