Picture Perfect

I had a client scoff at the idea that I could guesstimate the size and material of a sign simply by looking at a picture. She didn’t understand how I could know what the material would be and insisted that I come out and do an on-site survey. But, she also didn’t want to pay for that time. I really, really wanted to ask her if she could figure out how to cut someone’s hair based on a picture (she’s a hairdresser), but I didn’t because I try to be as professional as possible. We didn’t get the job, and I’m kinda happy about that. I feel bad for the shop that did. — Meri Lindenmuth, G&L’s Sign Factory, Bethlehem, Pa
