ONLINE Your company should show up in the top three results for a Google search of “signs near me.” If not, get busy working on your search engine optimization (SEO).

APPAREL If most of the summer hustle is over, get some straightening up done to be better prepared for fall and winter apparel orders. Keep a close eye on stock with vendors. Contact clients who you know regularly place orders to alert them that they may want to do so early.

EMPLOYEES Remind staff to use all vacation hours before the end of the year.

TRAINING Do you have a fancy DSLR camera that no longer gets much use because you use your phone for everything? As good as iPhone and Samsung cameras are, you could likely get better with the right skills. Sign up for a course that teaches you how to take better product and social media pictures with your smartphone.
