Ultraflex (Randolph, NJ) is introducing several, diverse banner materials:
• Strip Mesh Pro LTX, a latex-compatible mesh with an easily removable liner that’s designed for building wraps, pole banners and other graphics subjected to heavy winds. The material is compatible with solvent-, eco-solvent and UV-cure-ink printing, and available in widths up to 126 in. ;
• SuperSmooth PET GreyBack, a frontlit-banner media with a gray backing and smooth print surface. Designed for pop-up, roll-up and X-banner displays, the matte-finish, interior-grade material is available up to 126 in. wide;
• Ultima Pro FL Matte, a 13-oz., outdoor-grade, semi-coated banner media that’s intended for billboard, truckside graphics and outdoor banners exposed long-term to the elements. Printable with UV-cure, latex, solvent and eco-solvent inks – as well as screenprinting — it’s sold up to 196 in. wide;
• True Canvas Giclée 65/35, an 11-oz., polyester/cotton blend with an acrylic-gesso topcoating that can be folded and stretched without cracking. Designed for interior décor and fine-art reproduction, it’s printable with eco-solvent, latex and UV-cure inks, and available in 39- to 80-in.-wide rolls;
• UltraPoplin Soft Image U240, a 7.5-oz., matte-finish soft poplin made from knitted polyester that’s designed for tradeshow displays and POP. The wrinkle-free media can be decorated with dye sublimation (direct or transfer) printing – as well as some UV-cure and latex inks, and is available from 61 to 198 in. wide;
• DualTex HD U360, a 10.6-oz., woven-polyester material with a satin finish on the front and plain weave on the back, is designed for frontlit or backlit soft signage. Dye sublimation, UV-cure and latex-ink printing may be used to decorate the material.
