USA Image Creates Window Graphics with Spirit (Distilled)

Windows of Lexingon, KY package store bedecked

In most university towns, liquor stores compete fiercely for the discretionary money of students (and alums who attend games in an attempt to relive younger days) in search of cocktail ingredients to fuel their good time. Brown-Forman, a global distributor of numerous well-known liquor brands, used window space at this Lexington, KY – home of the University of Kentucky – package store to deliver some high-impact advertising for Woodford Reserve whiskey, Herradura tequila and other top-shelf brands.

Brown-Forman hired Louisville, KY-based USA Image to produce the more than 500 sq. ft. of window graphics. After having perfected the client’s furnished, EPS-file artwork with Photoshop, USA Image produced the graphics on FLEXcon’s SeeThru-Sign® 6-mil, perforated window film, which it printed on an EFI-VUTEk 5330 solvent-ink printer in four-color, 300-dpi mode.

After having prepped the windows with Windex and denatured alcohol, USA Image’s in-house installation team secured super-size images of these popular libations on the windows’ interiors using felt-tipped 3M Gold nylon squeegees and Olfa knives. FLEXcon’s BusArt optic-ally clear laminate, which was applied with a GBC F60 dual-function laminator, helps the window wraps keep their spirit.
