Alexandra Lund, co-owner of Bismarck Sign Co., recently wrapped both of her daughters’ bedroom walls like this.

AREN’T THESE JUST about the super-cutest wall wraps you’ve ever seen?

This is the kind of fantasy-land bedroom that lucky little girls say goodnight in when their mom is “The Sticker Lady” — Alexandra Lund, co-owner of Bismarck Sign Co. (Bismarck, ND). At home she doubles as The Sticker Fairy, making her daughters’ (aged seven and three) dreams come true.

“I asked my daughters if we should spice up their room a little and add some fun wall wraps,” she says. “I immediately got really big smiles and yeses from both girls.” After consulting with her ‘clients,’ Lund found her seven-year-old requested something rainbow colored and including pretty sparkles. Her three-year-old had a very simple answer: something to do with princesses.

Lund used Adobe stock art modified in Photoshop and Illustrator to tie in the final details. “The great news is that I didn’t need them to sign off on proofs,” Lund says. “I just printed what I thought they would love and I surprised them.”

Both wraps were printed using a Canon Colorado on a General Formulations Film with a canvas finish. Lund did not use a laminate on this film. “When your mom is The Sticker Lady, we wrap walls instead of paint, and things get changed out fairly often,” she says.

Lund performed the install herself. Having a lot of experience in this department, she only took about an hour to knock out both rooms, she says. Her husband helped her trim out the wrap, “as he has more patience in that department,” she says, adding, “My daughters didn’t help with install, but helped with positive reinforcement of how much they loved it.”

The co-owner of Bismarck Sign says she loves hearing her daughters’ cousins or friends’ excitement when they walk into their rooms and see the wraps. “They just add a level of fun that is hard to find with paint,” Lund says. “I hope some day my daughters look back on it and think it was pretty neat that we had the opportunity to do things like this.”

When asked if she expects the wraps to outlast her daughters’ interest in the graphics, The Sticker Lady laughs, “Ha! I can about guarantee that I will want to change it” before they even think about asking.
