Work for Peanuts

In the Mall of America

Published

on

In order to create a fun and festive environment for the Peanuts 50th anniversary national celebration, the Mall of America (Bloomington, MN) event managers used 3M’s in-house graphics team to help with design, production and installation of Scotchprint graphics throughout the mall. More than 3,280 sq. ft. of Scotchprint Graphics signs were located at each of the four outdoor entrances to the mall and six skyway entrances.

In addition, visitors could follow 130, 4 x 4-ft. pawprint floor graphics, some printed in Peanuts trivia, throughout the mall to a location where they could get their Paw Ports” stamped. A stamped Paw Port enabled participants to enter a drawing for free rides for life at Camp Snoopy.

Completing the week of festivities designed to honor St. Paul native Charles Schulz and the Peanuts gang was a variety of the cartoon characters printed on 3M Scotchcal™ perforated window marking film on glass surfaces.
