2009 Lightfair Breaks Attendance Records

The 20th annual Lightfair Intl. (LFI), sponsored by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and the International Assn. of Lighting Designers, attracted 23,416 industry professionals and conference participants. LFI 2009 increased attendance by 8.5% and exhibit booths by 6% from LFI 2007 in NYC.

Boasting an exhibit hall of more than 170,000 sq. ft., the 2009 tradeshow floor, the largest space in LFI’s history, featured 476 national and international manufacturers in 1,643 booths.

Attendees from 73 countries and every U.S. state discovered national and international manufacturers on the tradeshow floor, 88 of which represented countries outside of the U.S. LFI 2009 also welcomed 80, first-time exhibiting companies.

As LFI 2009 ended, exhibitors were already preparing for 2010 (May 12-14, at Las Vegas) during space selection for next year. To register, visit www.lightfair.com.
