3M™ Corp. (St. Paul, MN) is announcing its Bumper Wrap Contest that will during the Specialty Graphics Imaging Assn’s (SGIA) annual tradeshow, which takes place Las Vegas October 13-15. Contestants will apply a 2 x 2-ft. graphic to the bumper of a Chevrolet HHR and will be judges on installation quality and time. The graphics will be printed on 3M’s Controltac film with Comply™ v3 air-release technology, and coated with 3M’s Scotchcal™ 8580 glossy-finish overlaminate. A grand-prize winner will receive a contest T-shirt and $800 off training, testing or 3M installation tools. Those who complete the bumper wrap will receive a contest T-shirt and $100 off 3M Preferred Graphics Installer Test, 3M Certified Graphics Installation company application or training at 3M Center, Lowen Corp. or Wrap Experts. All contestants will receive a discount of least $50 off 3M application training or testing.
