A & M Graphics Provides Wrap With Butte-iful School Spirit

When I began my high-school football career, we traveled to games in a yellow Blue Bird school bus. When we got a new coach before my junior season, he insisted we travel to games in a tourbus. While this was certainly an upgrade, it didn’t brand the school or feel like it was truly ours. Representatives of Poston Butte High School, a Phoenix-area secondary school, wanted its homestanding foes to know that the Broncos were coming to their school, and hired A & M Graphics (Mesa, AZ) to wrap the bus. A & M’s designer, Jeni Crawford, developed the creative, cubist display of colors using Adobe’s Creative Suite 5.

After washing the vehicle and giving it an alcohol wipedown, the shop produced the wrap with Arlon’s DPF 6000XRP air-release media, which it printed on a Mutoh ValueJet 1624 solvent-ink printer. Arlon’s Series 3220 glossy overlaminate will keep the orange and blue brilliant. The installers’ felt-tipped squeegees, propane torches and other equipment were purchased from Yellotools.
