Accent Signage Systems Announces October 8 Reopening

An Accent Signage Systems employee has announced that the company will reopen on October 8. In a statement received via e-mail, Kim Russell wrote, "On behalf of Accent, I wanted to get in touch and provide a short update on where things stand with us. Our attention this week has been focused on two things: honoring the memories of last week’s victims and planning to resume operations as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will officially re-open on Monday, October 8. That said, we are working hard this week to make sure that we have a handle on pending orders and can hit the ground running on Monday or maybe even get started before that. If your timing is somewhat flexible, please bear with us through this relatively short delay. If it is not, please let us know that and we will do whatever we can to meet your deadline."

On September 27, fired employee Andrew Engeldinger entered the premises and fatally shot four Accent employees, including founder Reuven Rahamim, and a UPS delivery driver before turning the gun on himself. Two other employees remain hospitalized with injuries sustained during the shooting.
