Accent Signage Tactile-Sign System

Accent Signage Systems (Minneapolis) is unveiling Verde™, an ADA- and wayfinding sign system that incorporates Optima™ and Grafica™ materials for the faceplate and lettering, respectively. The materials may be decorated with a Raster Braille system to achieve ADA compliance. Optima is made from recycled paper and wood composites, and is sold in ¼- and 1/8-in. thicknesses. Grafica comprises a bio-polymer product that’s made from plant sugars and starches that’s ASTM D6400-certified as a compostable material. Both may be decorated with low-VOC paints and UV-cure-ink digital printing. Verde is Greenguard certified for use in schools, and for promoting indoor air quality.
