Ackland Media Frames (Lake Elsinore, CA) is presenting its two-piece attachment system for display non-adhesive vinyl on such semi-flat surfaces as walls and trucks. The hardware includes a self-tensioning clamp that secures vinyl in place, and stretches the material into a seamless, wrinkle-free display. Ackland sends installation screws with each order, and also sells a bonding system that eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners for wall adhesion. To secure the substrate within the frame, users secure the materials with the frame’s adhesive before applying a cover plate. The frames accommodate media from 7 to 20 mils thick, although a minimum of 13 oz. is recommended; no finishing is required.
