Advanced Menu Systems’ LED Retrofit Kit

Advanced Menu Systems (AMS), Santa Ana, CA, a provider of LED-illuminated products for the fast-casual and quick-serve-restaurant (QSR) industries, is offering the LED Retrofit Kit for indoor and outdoor menuboards. The kit is available for standard, 16- and 24-in.-wide lift-and-drop grid menu-boards.
Specifically designed to facilitate an easy transition from fluorescent light sources to LEDs in menuboards, the kit features an LED-array light source from ION™ Light Engines that utilizes low voltage, Class II power. The company says the kit will last a minimum of nine years when operated an average of 18 hours a day.
To facilitate mounting into existing menuboards, after the fluorescent lamps are removed, the LED-Array is mounted to the back panel of the menuboard and connected to the low-voltage, DC, remote power supply.
AMS products qualify for LEED certification points.
