Agfa Pitman (Elmwood Park, NJ) is introduced Duratex EcoDisplay rigid board. According to the company, the material comprises 30% post-industrial waste, and is made from water, wood and starch. The material is reportedly fabricated without chemicals, plastics or industrial coatings, is readily recyclable, and weighs one-third less than comparable products. According to Agfa Pitman, it offers high printability and strong warp resistance.
