Agfa Pitman (Elmwood Park, NJ) is offering Alumaboard, a 3mm-thick, polyethylene-core, aluminum-composite material that can be printed on both sides with a UV-cure-ink printer. The substrate is available in 4 x 8- and 5 x 10-ft. panels in white or brushed-silver finishes, and can be drilled, cut, sheared, routed or bent. According to the company, the panels weigh half as much as standard aluminum sheet.
