AGL Web Trimmer

Advanced Grieg Laminators (AGL) Inc. (Madison, WI) is introducing Auto Trim 3, an inline, automatic web trimmer and sheeter designed to replace manual cutting during laminated-sheet production runs. It can produce flush-, sealed- and bleed-edge cuts, and trims individual sheets from continuous-production rolls by using an optional graphics-registration package. The AutoTrim 3’s self-sharpening rotary blade offers better cuts than guillotine-style cutters, the company reports. AGL offers the trimmers, which function at 25- to 50 ft./min. cutting speeds, in 27-, 38-, 50- and 63-in. widths.
