Iwata-Medea Inc. (Portland, OR) is announcing Iwata Hi-Line HP series airbrushes, including HP-AH, HP-BH and HP-CH. The airbrushes feature finite air control directly at the nozzle with the company’s Micro Air Control (MAC) valve technology.

Designed for artists who need tight control of detailed spraying, the airbrushes use larger-diameter threads on the nozzle than those used on the High Performance series. The products feature Teflon needle packing for solvent-based paints, a dual-purpose cutaway, a pre-set handle and one-piece, auxiliary lever/needle chucking-guide construction.

The company also is presenting updated Iwata High Performance Plus series airbrushes. New features include a dual-purpose cutaway; pre-set handle; Teflon needle packing; larger nozzle threads; tapered gravity-feed cups; and a single-piece, auxiliary, lever/needle chucking guide to ensure easy assembly.
