Anver Vacuum Lifter

Anver Corp. (Hudson, MA) is announcing its redesigned, mechanical vacuum lifter. The self-powered lifter uses a mechanism that creates suction when lowered by hoist onto a load. According to the company, lifters may be outfitted to lift up to 18,000 lbs., and offer “green” operation because it functions without compressed air and electricity. Features include a vacuum-loss sensor, an audio/visual alarm and a 3-ft.-long, ergonomic safety handle. The system’s four, rectangular pads accommodate loads up to 12 x 6 ft. of fiberglass, plastic, wood or polished stone.
