Arlon (Placentia, CA) is offering DPF6100XLP, a cast, automotive-wrap film with a low-profile, air-egress liner. According to the company, the material provides superior bonding to a car’s channels and compound curves, and its low initial tack make it highly repositionable and saves considerable installation time. DPF6100XLP may printed upon with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-cure inks. Arlon offers the material in 50-yd.-long, 30-, 48-, 54- and 60-in.-long rolls.
Arlon is also debuting Ultimate PremiumPlus™ Chrome and Chrome Effects vehicle-wrap films. The films are offered in 52-in.-wide rolls; the mirror-finish Silver Chrome material will maintain color and consistency during and after applications, the company states, and conform to the most challenging areas of a vehicle’s surface. Arlon says it’s the first manufacturer to offer a chrome-wrap film that’s intended and warranted for all vehicle-wrap applications.
