The client, an Atlanta-based multi-unit, property-management firm, wanted better curb appeal for this Columbus, OH rental property. The aluminum cabinet and support-frame structure were shaped on the shop’s MultiCam CNC router and shaped with a Millermatic 252 MIG welder. The aluminum letters were decorated with 3M pressure-sensitive vinyl, and a faux-stone slab was installed as its base.

Tamworth Regional Council
Danthonia has plied much of its trade fabricating public-space signs for regional governments throughout Australia and, in the process, also filled several contest pages over the years. The shop built this sign with an aluminum-post structure that’s covered in hot-wire-cut, expanded-polystyrene foam with a polyurea hardcoat, and fabricated its letters with laminated, hand-cut HDU letters. Faux-wood post cladding adds to its rustic ambiance. Dulux Weathershield and Graffiti Buster 200 coatings protect the sign from Australia’s balmy climate – and vandals.

Triton College
Located in River Grove, IL, a Chicago suburb, Triton College officials wanted to improve the school’s “front door,” and invested in a 22-ft.-tall sign referred to as its Leadership Monument. The sign comprises three fabricated-aluminum pillars that envelop a central brick structure that stands upon an exposed-concrete foundation. The channel letters were CNC-router cut, decorated with Akzo Nobel Grip-Gard® acrylic-polyurethane paint and installed with countersunk screws. External floodlighting accentuates the sign.
