Biesse Dealer Academy Spotlights SOPHIA App

Biesse Group (Charlotte, NC) recently held its 2018 Dealer Academy at the company’s world headquarters in Pesaro, Italy.

The platform provided continuous training from Biesse product specialists, all of whom have more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Dealers received training on the company’s range of CNC machines, edgebanders, sanders and panel saws along with guided factory tours for each product category.

Distributors were also introduced to SOPHIA, Biesse’s IoT app and cloud-based software management tool that helps users achieve higher productivity by providing them with a dashboard containing real-time visibility of machine status, performance and functionality. SOPHIA is also integrated with Biesse’s new PARTS replacement web portal that allows users to navigate within a personalized account, providing access to all information on purchases and allowing a replacement parts shopping cart to be submitted as well as the progress of orders to be monitored.
