CAD/CAM Software

Vision Numeric USA (Atlanta) is presenting TypeEdit 2003+ CAD/CAM software. The software features a Windows-based format and allows users to automatically create 3-D images from 2-D artwork. Logos and patterns can be imported from any file format, and customized 3-D textures can be applied to any type of material. The design and machining modules are fully integrated.

The upgraded version features a multi-tool sequence function; revamped matrix function to automatically position elements according to machine type; a weaving function to enhance a design by creating reliefs with a woven look and texture; 3-D view for the user to visualize and control the work; additional arc-creation options; and improved import capabilities, the company reports.
