Chung Youl Yoo Departs Lorenc+Yoo Design After 23 Years as Partner

Lorenc+Yoo Design has announced the departure of Chung Youl Yoo after a partnership spanning more than two decades.

Before becoming partner in 1998, Chung had been a member of the firm’s design team since 1988. During his tenure, he directed complex projects such as wayfinding signage systems for Gaylord Palms and Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Orlando and Dallas, respectively, and the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL.

“Chung’s dedication to the highest quality design work as well as his tireless project management over these past 33 years have contributed vitally to our firm’s success,” said Jan Lorenc, Lorenc+Yoo Design principal. “I am grateful for his longstanding partnership and friendship. The entire team wishes him all the best in this next stage of his career.”

Lorenc+Yoo Design will revert to Lorenc Design this fall and continue serving clients internationally with its experiential design services.
