Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated Permit and Comprehensive Sign Plan Specialist who shares our passion for customer service, continuous improvement, and team success. The ideal candidate thrives on creative work, detailed projects, and negotiating with people.

Responsibilities:
-Research development ordinances, comprehensive sign plans, and landlord documents.
-Use a consistent process to effectively communicate design restrictions for projects in development & permitting to salespeople, project managers, and designers.
-Write well considered criteria for comprehensive sign plans, preparing justifications and tailoring narratives to meet municipal guidelines.
-Use municipal permit checklists to ensure that packages submitted to municipalities meet applicable guidelines to prevent delays due to administrative returns.
-Submit sign permit applications, comprehensive sign plan applications, variance applications, and design review applications.
-Submit sign permits in a timely manner. Schedule workdays around municipal council meetings outside normal working hours if required.
-Build strong relationships by using good personal skills, providing value, and honoring commitments.

Experience & Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
-1 Year experience researching sign ordinances.
-1 Year experience submitting applications for sign permits, comprehensive sign plans, and variances.
-2 Years experience writing criteria for comprehensive sign plans.
Preferred Requirements:
-5 Years experience researching sign ordinances, submitting permit applications, and submitting comprehensive sign plans.

Pay:
$60,000 – $70,000 annually. Somewhat flexible, depending on experience.

Benefits:
80 hours of PTO annually
40 hours of sick leave annually
Reimbursement for cell phone expenses
