SoCal Experienced in Bid Prep, Submittals Prevailing Wage & Private Projects

Our 70 year old sign company is undergoing evolution to become a division of a broader company. In the meantime, we are still bidding daily on projects with significant numbers of ADA signs plus accompanying exterior directional signs and building signs.

We need an all-round designer and planner who can assist with take-offs, pricing, and produce the initial submittal drawings and sign lists. Work from home if you like, but you need to be in the SoCal area so you can spend at least one day a week in the shop in Lakewood, near the Long Beach Airport. We do most work using Illustrator on Macs. We do have a desk for the person who prefers a work environment rather than working at home.

It is a definite plus if you are familiar with, and have prepared documentation for prevailing wage jobs.

Currently, this job is contractual, but may evolve into a salaried position with benefits. Please reply with your contact information, your experience, samples if you have them on line, and the range of your hourly or per project fees.
