Cree LEDs Used in American Airlines Center Videoscreens

Cree Inc. (Durham, NC), a market leader in LED is announcing that its HB LEDs have been incorporated into Lighthouse Technologies’ HD videoscreens installed this season in the American Airlines Center. At the Dallas home of the NBA’s Mavericks and NHL’s Stars, the 3-in-1 HB LEDs deliver high definition images to fans throughout the arena on the first, 1,080 x 1,920 videoscreen in any NBA or NHL facility. .
“Cree’s Screen Master® high-brightness LEDs provide excellent quality and performance, helping Lighthouse Technologies deliver vibrant color and crisp detail," said Paul Thieken, Cree director of marketing, LED components.
The arena’s core display comprises four Lighthouse LED screens. At the ends of the arena, two stadium-sized videoscreens have been installed, each three times larger than the previous monitors.
