Daktronics to Help Renovate Columbus, OH Historic Corner

Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) will help renovate the historic crossroads of Broad and High streets in downtown Columbus, OH. Broad and High Multimedia LLC, a joint venture of a real-estate organization and a media-advertising firm, recently awarded Daktronics the contract the supply the video technology that Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, NBC 4, Huntington Bank, Nationwide Insurance and other advertising partners will use to reach passersby.

Daktronics will add four floors of videoboards and one monochrome digital display that will wrap the buildings that sit across from the state capitol building. This is part of an urban redevelopment project that combines digital technology with historic structures.

“The project redefines downtown Columbus, by bridging the gap between modern sign technology and historic structures,” said Steve Bayer, Daktronics commercial project development.
