Daktronics Introduces LiveWrx

Daktronics (Brookings, SD) announced the launch of LiveWrx,  a fan engagement platform designed for high schools to create interactive experiences at live sporting events using their video boards, according to a press release.

Built specifically for high school environments, LiveWrx enables schools to run live polls, interactive games and fan challenges on their Daktronics displays while fans participate in real time using their smartphones. The platform is designed to increase crowd involvement, enhance school spirit and create new opportunities for sponsorship‑driven revenue during games.

“High school events are about more than the score — they’re about community, connection and student involvement,” Kyle Sydow, Daktronics high school market manager, is quoted in the press release. “LiveWrx gives schools an easy way to bring fans into the action, energize their events and build excitement for students and communities.”

LiveWrx fits into high school game‑day environments, allowing schools to create interactive moments that bring fans into the action. Fans join by scanning a QR code displayed on the video board, enabling real‑time participation without downloading an app or creating an account.

The platform can be operated by athletic directors, media teachers, broadcast students or event staff, making it accessible for schools of all sizes and production levels. During games, LiveWrx supports a range of crowd‑pleasing experiences — including trivia, polls, prediction games, student section challenges and sponsor‑branded activations — that fit into pregame activities, timeouts, halftime and other breaks in play.

By encouraging participation during key moments, LiveWrx provides a platform for schools to create more exciting and connected environments that strengthen school pride and keep fans engaged throughout the event.

LiveWrx also provides schools with a new way to engage local businesses and community partners. Interactive fan experiences can be sponsored, allowing schools to offer branded activations during moments of high fan attention.

These sponsorship opportunities help schools create new funding sources while delivering added value to local partners, without adding new physical inventory or increasing operational complexity.

LiveWrx is part of Daktronics’ growing suite of solutions designed for high school sports and activities programs. By integrating with Daktronics video displays and existing workflows, LiveWrx helps schools get more from their game-day technology and find new ways to engage students, fans and communities.

LiveWrx is now available for high schools with Daktronics video boards.
